Maya's Picture"Sit here just one moment," Anya said with a smile as she settles me into a chair just outside of a shop. Instinctually I reached into my satchel and pulled out my pad and pencil.
Behind me Anya converses with her friend, just audible over the whirl and clank of the trolley running by. Just as Anya said, I take a picture freezing time for just a moment.
There, just on the front of the trolley two little boys sit, their knickerbockers greasy from the machines, but wearing huge smiles as they enjoy their lollipops.
Just above them, a well dressed woman holds her hat on her head while she clucks her tongue in disapproval. Her companion, some ten years her younger throws his head back and laughs nervously at her displeasure.
Above the rails, strung by wires, hangs Chiterers, flashing their lights in annoyance at not being fed yet. On curiously peers down at a girl cooing up at it. Why is the silly thing pink? And its fur is most absurd; coming only from the top of its head and wrapped in r
